Finding a Calling – Horse Ministry

By CBM National Intern, Ryanne It’s amazing to think about how God brought me to this place. A year ago I was pursuing working in a church in a different state; camp ministry wasn’t even close to being on my radar. God used one phone call to change my whole life. Not only has He given me a new direction, but He has also given me a clear calling and vision for what He is asking me to do --  horse ministry. I am not a visionary. I have always been the one who looks at someone else’s big picture and sees all of the little details that have to happen to make that ...

Children’s Bible Ministries – And the Lord was with Joseph

By CBM National Intern, David After the four months of training and equipping time spent at CBM headquarters, I was stationed at Camp Ta-pa-win-go in Watauga, TN for the first of three CBM area ministries rotations. My schedule there would allowed me to work with nearly every full-time missionary on staff: -I worked a few days with Aaron, who is over maintenance, helping get wood for the wood stoves that most of the buildings use for heat in the winter. Internship Program at Children’s Bible Ministries

By CBM National Intern, Ada Hello!  My name is Ada and I am one of the 5 inaugural interns for CBM National!  Our internship is one whole year, in which we have 4 months of Bible and administrative classes followed by 7ish months of rotations at 3 of CBM's different locations.  Of course, they won't be having summer camp that whole time, so what exactly do we do when we are there?  That is a very good question.               During my first 2 of the 7 months of rotations, I was at Camp Ozone in Rockwood, TN.  It was just acquired by CBM last year so ...

So often these people go about doing what has to be done and that is just that.  But what if these people didn’t listen as God worked on their hearts, then nothing would happen. Or they chose not to respond? Then what would happen?  Lives would not be changed.  Hearts ...

CBM-Virginia Vision

As the Fall leaves get ready to turn their colors, and the cooler air replaces the hot summer heat, we are hearing what the Lord has done through our camping programs in our areas. Here are two excerpts from the Directors of our area camp in Virginia.   Our theme at camp this year was “Treasure Hunters” where we taught the children to treasure God’s Word and to have a close walk with the Lord. The theme verses were Matthew 6:19-21, “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break ...
