Interlocking Ministries

In 2001, we came face to face with spiritually desperate people in western Kenya who believe in a creator God, but didn’t know the Gospel.  We found no other evangelical ministry there.  There is a momentum of the moving of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of the people there.  We strive together with the Kenyan believers, training them in evangelism and discipleship in the public schools, marketplace, church plants and summer camp programs.

We have also held pastor conferences, marriage conferences and sexual purity training.  We are interlocked with them in a beautiful teamwork called the “body of Christ”. We believe that we also need to assist physically with the widows and orphans that are there. We meet regularly with them and the community to pray and discover how to help them meet their needs. We started a poultry farm for the widows to earn a living and it has been successful. Most recently, we partnered with the Kenyan pastors to hold two business seminar sessions followed by the opportunity for micro-finance loans for the ladies to start small businesses. Orphans are placed in family homes and allowed to attend the Christian school.

We invite you to join us in prayer, going on a trip, and/or financial support

Moldova Mission

Moldova is the poorest nation in Europe and has one of the highest orphan rates in the world.

The combination of absentee parents and poverty led to the devastating crisis of human trafficking. Over the past 20 years, an
estimated 400,000 children and young adults have been abducted from Moldova and sold into sexual slavery.

Most victims end up in the sex trade with a false promise to earn money as a waitress or receptionist. The recruiters
typically are people the victim knows and possibly their own family members. While boys and men can fall victim,
the industry zeros in on women, children and the disabled.

Moldova, officially Republic of Moldova, declared itself as an independent state in 1991 and is the poorest country in Europe. There are currently 2,913,281 inhabitants in Moldova, many of which are in danger of human trafficking. Due to the poor economic state, an estimated quarter of the population has emigrated and are working abroad.

The Solution:

We help prevent abductions of orphans and return girls and boys who were caught in the sex-trafficking trade back to loving homes. We have been successful in providing protection and guidance for more than 200 girls, and have made connections and inroads to be able to help even more in the future.

We began the Moldova Mission Camp Project (MMCP) in 2005 as a week-long summer camp to educate, engage and share the love of Jesus with southern Moldovan children. Since 2005, we have been able to serve 1,000 children. We have created strong local connections and built goodwill and trust.

We raised $180,000 in start-up costs used to purchase the land, prepare the site for utilities, and create the architectural plan. We own 25 acres of land that has been prepared for water and electricity. This land is earmarked for the three ministries: The Summer Camp Emmanuel, Hope Houses, and a vocational training center. Because the MMCP is not a startup, but a long-standing ministry with deep roots in Moldova, we have the ability to put funds to work rapidly to impact southern Moldova.

There are 25,000 school-aged children in desperate need of hearing about the love and grace of Jesus Christ. Christian camps are one of the main ways for students to learn about and give their lives to Jesus in Moldova.
