Children’s Bible Ministries (CBM) invites you to enjoy a peaceful retreat in one of our cabins at our beautiful headquarters in Townsend, TN.  It is our prayer that the Lord will use this getaway to refresh and renew your spirit.

Tuckaleechee Retreat Center is owned and operated by CBM. The retreat center features 3 cabins and 4 lodges, nestled on the side of Little Mountain. CBM uses these facilities for its own missionary training and retreats. When not in use by CBM, we offer the property to individuals, couples, families, and groups who are looking for a quiet place to relax and be refreshed, on “The Peaceful Side” of the Smokies. Local fun is plentiful in the area of Townsend. Tubing, rafting, fishing in the Little River, plus bluegrass music, horseback riding, and the historic Tuckaleechee Caverns are just a few of the things our area has to offer. At our doorstep is the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Cades Cove. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, only 20-30 miles away, offer outlet shopping, restaurants, shows, theme parks, and other attractions.

Non-profit organizations classified as 501(c)(3) are able to be exempted from sales tax charges, once a Tennessee Tax Exemption Certificate has been submitted to TRC. We are only able to honor Tennessee state tax exempt forms. Payment from tax exempt organizations must be made with the same organization’s credit card or check. The 5% hotel/motel tax is MANDATORY for all reservations, even those who are sales tax exempt.
