CBM Intern – You are Where He Wants You to Be
By CBM National intern, Jake Taylor -
Since beginning my first rotation at Camp Grace in North Carolina as a CBM National intern, I have done things I expected and didn't expect to do. I found I really enjoyed each of them. Now if you haven't met me, my personality is very “on the go,” get the job done as quickly, and as perfectly as possible. The little things tend to stick out to me; if I see a problem, I have to take care of it. So getting put in a situation where I have to slow down and be the arms and legs for someone else is challenging. I thank God ...
CBM Intern – Why I Do What I Do

This is what my typical day looks like as a CBM National Intern on rotation at Ponderosa Bible Camp:
I usually wake up pretty early, and me being a night owl does not make this easy! Regardless, I force myself to my feet sometime before6:50am and try to beat the TEAM (Teens Excited About Ministry) members to the dining hall. If you don't know, TEAM members play a huge part in Ponderosa Bible Camp's Ministry.

Where Two or More are Gathered

Hello friends, family, supporters, and online strangers! It's my first blog post as a CBM intern! Hip, hip, huzzah! The other interns and I have been busy taking Bible classes (we've had Ethics, Apologetics, and Evangelism so far; a survey of the Old Testament is coming up next), cleaning cabins (Groupon season is upon us, which means lots and lots of guests), helping out with a local church's youth ministry, traveling to and ...
Be Strong and Courageous, and Act
By CBM National intern, Paly Daly -
Solomon was born to be the King who built the Lord’s temple. He was given incredible riches, imperial status, and supernatural wisdom to accomplish this task from God. Recently, Solomon has become a character of interest to me. His books fascinate me, his words are always inspiring and thought-provoking, and his deeds are incredible. Probably the greatest story I’ve read featuring Solomon, however, isn’t about something he said or did, but something his father, David said to him.
Then David said to his son Solomon, ...
Blessed Beyond Measure
By CBM National Intern: Mark Martens
With the end of the year coming up, we can sometimes find ourselves reflecting on what has happened in the past year. For me, as our time at CBM Headquarters (at Tuckaleechee Retreat Center in Townsend, TN) is coming to an end, I have found myself thinking about the past few months here and all the blessings that Lord has given me.
Blessed with Opportunities
When I was first accepted to CBM’s National internship, I knew that I was going to be busy. I just did not realize how busy it was going to get sometimes. We were ...
