Recognizing God-Given Gifts and Utilizing Them for His Glory

Written by Katelyn Bailey  How do we know what God has gifted us to do? Once we know what our gifts are, how do we use them to glorify Him? In this blog we will look at how God has answered these questions in my life, to give you an example and a starting point to look at in your own life. My name is Katelyn and I am an intern with Children’s Bible Ministries. When I was twelve, I became a mother’s helper. That meant I took care of and played with the children in the basement while their mom was upstairs cleaning, doing laundry, whatever she needed to do without her boys underfoot. At thirteen, I began babysitting while the parents were ...

Effective Communication and How It Helps Our Team Function

Written by Gracie Kinsey   Relationships are one of the most valuable resources that God gave us when He created the Earth and everything in it. Everyone has had some sort of relationship in their life–whether it be a relationship with God, the people in your family, your friends, your roommate, your husband or wife, or even the Dunkin’ Donuts lady who takes your breakfast order every Monday–we’ve all got them. His Purposes are Great and His Ways Unexpected

By Jaelynn Woullard, Team #11 During high school, I was in the medical academy. I thought that it was the field that I wanted to go into as a career and that I was going to be a nurse. During my senior year I took 2 classes that had to do with the medical field: EKG Technician and Home Health Aid/Phlebotomy. I enjoyed being in those classes and learning more about the medical field. Originally, after I graduated in 2018, I thought that I was going to go straight into the Army and thought that I would like to do that. But I was taking a prescription for migraines and they said that I would have to be off the medication for a year before I could ...

Levels of Flexibility

By Erin Miller, Team #11 For me, being flexible is very important. I didn’t realize it until recently but I am constantly needing to be flexible. I am not talking about when you exercise. I am talking about when your plans change without warning and you have roll with it. Whether it means fixing something for dinner at the last minute or changing plans most of the day, due to a change in weather–all types of flexibility are important and the better you are with change, the better you will be with spur of the moment kind of things. It is just part of being flexible.  I know different people react differently in their ability to be ...
