Is it God speaking?

“Have you ever heard a love song, that set your spirit free?   Have you ever watched a sunrise and felt you could not breathe?  What if it’s Him?  What if it’s God speaking? ”  These words from a song really make me think.  If God, more often than not, speaks in a still, small voice…then why do we look for thunder & lightning and flashing billboards? 

What does God use to get our attention?  A double rainbow?  A tiny baby?  A child singing Silent Night?   Or are we so overwhelmed by the noises of our American life, that God’s small voice gets crowded out? 

This Christmas season “LISTEN” to hear God speaking to your heart.  May you be blest immensely as He speaks volumes of love to you, and may you respond with thanksgiving and gratefulness for His coming to earth to be your Savior.
