4 things They Don’t Tell You About the CBM National Internship

I have now been a part of CBM’s National Internship program for 11 months. I can honestly say that coming into the internship, I really didn’t know what to expect. So, here is a list of 4 things you’ll experience during the internship.

1. You’ll be stretched.

God will stretch you, farther than you have been in your entire life. You’ll do things you never thought you’d be doing. But each task will bring honor to God and His kingdom.

2. You’ll meet some amazing people.

Whether it be the kids or various different leaders at camps, you’ll meet some truly awesome people that will love and encourage you on your journey as much as they possibly can.

3. Your weakness will start to become your strength.

That thing you always thought you couldn’t do, or always thought you’d never do, will start to become something you actually enjoy doing and will start to come naturally to you each and every day.

4. You’ll develop a heart for people

You will desire to see people saved and to serve them daily in whatever you do. Even though sometimes you might not get along with the people, you’ll learn to better show God’s love.

There are many other things I could list that you wouldn’t necessarily find out until joining the internship, but you’ll learn soon enough. And ultimately, God will teach you what He desires for you to learn and will continue to craft you into His perfect image each and every day.
