HQ Training
The first four months of the internship will be spent at CBM’s National Headquarters, located at the Tuckaleechee Retreat Center (TRC) in Townsend, TN.
These four months are designed to train and equip interns for field work. Interns should expect to participate in classes (found in the Syllabus) which include reading assignments and homework. They will be involved in answering phones, fundraisers, and other hands-on training.
Interns will be ministered to through Bible classes, weekly small groups, teaching opportunities, and goal meetings with the National Directors.
Interns will also have multiple opportunities for service, including: helping with a local youth group, housekeeping for TRC, working with volunteer groups and much more. For more information concerning the intern’s time at HQ, read the Handbook.
