The Kinney’s Camp at Powell’s Fort
Morgan and Luella Kinney met at the
Providence Bible Institute in Rhode Island. A
letter came to the Institute asking for help with the
CBM work in Virginia.
The Kinneys, 1943 Morgan visited at Easter time of his senior year,
taught a Bible lesson in a school, and preached in
the Church of Solsburg, which was the outgrowth Camp meetings were fun and challenging. Campers in prayer, 1960
of Miss Collignon and Miss Wright‘s CBM work.
A call to serve was accepted. Morgan and Luella
were married on June 15, 1943 and moved to
Virginia in time for Summer Camp.
