CBM Interns – The New and the Uncomfortable

By CBM National intern, Cati Watts - What is it that scares us so much about change? Things change all the time and at some point in everyone’s life they are in a new situation. I do not like being in that position. I have just been placed in a new situation on my first rotation with the CBM National Internship at Ponderosa Bible Camp. Within the first couple of days I realized I was feeling quite uncomfortable and awkward, so I began to search for the root reasons why. Teamwork -Two are Better than One, Three are even Better

By CBM National intern, -  Mark Martens John Donne states in one of his poems, “No man is an island, Entire of itself, Every man is a piece of the continent, A part of the main.”   If there is one thing this rotation has reminded me of, it’s the importance of teamwork. We think this is something that every person should remember also, whether you are four or sixty-four.   BIBLE: We need to be in our Bible every single day so we can become more knowledgeable of God, as well as prepared to love the world. ...

CBM Interns-How To’s

By CBM National Interns, Scott and Jerri Carpenter The CBM National internship is definitely a blessing from God. We could tell that from our very first day here! The classes alone have already showed us so much. We cannot even begin to imagine what the time we spend at different CBM camps is going to do for us. We have learned new lessons, dove deep into things we already believed to expound even further, and definitely seen how our lives should be shaped by God. We can’t thank Him enough for the experience He has already given us. God has shown us three big “how to’s” for being a Christian since we have started this internship...
