As the end of my rotation at Camp Grace is around the corner, I find myself reflecting on my previous experiences. I realized that I had been looking at my past in the wrong light. When I worked at my former job I felt used and abused so I lashed out in anger at my boss, at my coworkers, even at the metal shelf I bumped my head on. I was so angry with my circumstances that I never thought about what I was learning. However, because of that job, I gained so many useful skills such as customer service and feeling comfortable with whatever vehicle I am driving.

I have now been a part of CBM’s National Internship program for 11 months. I can honestly say that coming into the internship, I really didn't know what to expect. So, here is a list of 4 things you'll experience during the internship.
1. You'll be stretched.
God will stretch you, farther than you have been in your entire life. You'll do things you never thought you'd be doing. But each task will bring honor to God and His kingdom.

CBM Interns-Being the Captain

Here at CBM's New Life Camp in Raleigh NC, they have two different sports programs going on right now. One is their Storm Program, which is like high school sports for home-schooled kids. They run teams for both middle school and high school. The second program they are running at this time is their Next Level Basketball. This program is a league basketball for boys and girls, six to eighteen years old. Jerri and I have enjoyed watching the kids play basketball and soccer during our rotation this last month.

Children Bible Camps-Summer is Around the Corner
Spring is in full bloom and summer camp is just around the corner. Please be in prayer for our CBM areas as they’re in the process of completing plans for their summer camp sessions. This requires LOTS of preparation…buildings, grounds, staff, and programming bathed in much prayer.
Of course camp could go on without prayer…but God’s desire is that we seek His direction and follow Him… His plans are so much wiser than ours.
