Evidence of God at Work

A promise from God’s Word: “Isaiah 55:10-11 “As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is My Word that goes out from My Mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

As of the last posting we mentioned that the land purchased for a camp in Kenya has the perfect kind of sand for making cement blocks. What’s extra special is that with cement and labor, 100 building blocks can be made for $15.00 (at $.15 per block!).

Many folks have shown interest in donating funds to buy building blocks for the camp. As of this writing, we have tracked at least 70 people who have given funds toward this cause. It is exciting to realize that nearly $4000 has been received, which will buy nearly 26,000 cement building blocks. Here in the national office we get pretty excited when we see evidence of God at work. What’s even more exciting, however, is that while money is coming in for this project, the Bible is already being taught in Kenyan public schools. God is drawing boys and girls to Himself and they are learning about a personal relationship with their Creator. We’re thankful we can count on His promises.
